The TLN-120 is a near-vertical tube rotor with a tube angle of 8 degrees from the axis of rotation and can centrifuge up to eight 8 x 35-mm (1.2 mL) Quick-Seal tubes. The slight angle of this rotor significantly reduces run times from a more conventional fixed angle rotor (with a tube angle of 20 to 30 degrees), while allowing components that do not band under separation conditions to either pellet to the bottom or float to the top of the tube.Designed for use in Beckman Coulter Optima MAX, Optima MAX-XP, Optima TLX, and TL-100 tabletop ultracentrifuges.
